Full description
Limiter is an addiction recovery app for any addiction, to a substance or a behavior. It works for gambling, drinking, drugs, porn, gaming, smoking and vaping, whether you want to stop or cut down. A limiter doesn't mute the signal. It caps the peaks. At its center is a sobriety counter. It counts every clean day you've had, across every run, and gives each day four moves: a pledge, one meeting, one person, and an evening review. Each takes under a minute. Nothing is scored. EVERYTHING IS FREE ON ANDROID · The counter. Total days and current run. · Today: a pledge, one meeting, one person, an evening review. · Online and in-person meetings, each linked to the fellowship's own listing, on your phone and offline. · Online meetings starting soon, one tap to join, and a page for every meeting with what to expect the first time. · Log the meetings you go to. Count 90 in 90 if you want to. · Up to five people. Call or text in one tap, with a message written ahead. · If-then plans for your own triggers. · Who holds the money: record who holds your cards and accounts, and what they don't know yet. · A panic screen that works with no signal: your people, your plans, your own letter, and crisis numbers. · A private journal with no length limit, an evening review, and guided inner work. · Morning and evening reminders, only if you turn them on. · Export everything. Not affiliated with any fellowship. YOUR TOTAL NEVER RESETS Most apps zero you out after a relapse. Limiter tracks two numbers: every clean day you have ever had, which only goes up, and your current run, which starts over. A relapse moves one number and adds to the other. Then it asks what happened before it, because that's the part worth knowing. CUTTING DOWN COUNTS Not everyone is going for zero. For gambling and other behaviors, set a cap instead: how much, how often, how long. For alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids and prescription drugs, Limiter never writes a plan. It keeps track of the one your doctor gives you. IT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Everything you write and log stays on your device: your journal, your notes, the people you add, the meetings you go to. There is no account, no server holding your history, no ads and no analytics. Android's own backup can carry it only when your phone encrypts it end to end, and we never receive it. NOT MEDICAL CARE Limiter is a tracking tool, not medical care. This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to a doctor before changing how much you take of anything. Stopping alcohol or benzodiazepines without supervision can be dangerous. IF YOU NEED SOMEONE NOW These are US lines: Problem gambling helpline: 1-800-MY-RESET SAMHSA treatment referral: 1-800-662-HELP Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: 988 Outside the US, call your local emergency number. What's new

The app lock stays open when you come back from something it opened for you: a call, a text, a link, a meeting, the export picker. After a call or text from the panic screen or the crisis lines, it stays open for 30 minutes. Pressing Home still locks it. Setup keeps your answers if the screen changes. After Delete everything, setting up again starts on Today. Clearer screen reader labels in Patterns.
