Meetings

Hit record, put your phone down and stay present in the conversation. Meetings captures what's said in the room on your iPhone and uploads it to your organisation's Business AI Platform, where it becomes a transcript, a summary and action items you can search and ask your AI about. Meetings requires an organisation account. It's for people whose organisation uses a Business AI Platform managed by TechXcel and has set up Meetings: you sign in with your Microsoft 365 work account once your administrator gives you access. There is no personal sign-up. BEFORE THE MEETING • See your upcoming meetings from your Microsoft 365 work calendar. • Tap a meeting to see who's invited and start recording, with the title and attendees attached. If your organisation allows it, you can also share the transcript with internal attendees who use the platform. • Not in the calendar? Capture a corridor chat or site walk anyway, with an optional title and who was there. IN THE ROOM • Pause, resume and stop, with a running timer and a waveform that moves with the sound in the room. • Lock your screen or switch apps and recording carries on. On iPhone, a Live Activity shows it's in progress on the Lock Screen and, where available, the Dynamic Island. • Start or stop a recording with Siri, the Shortcuts app or the Action button on iPhone models that have one. • Recording works without a connection. If a call interrupts, Meetings tries to resume and tells you if it can't. • If the app closes unexpectedly, the audio captured up to that point is usually recovered and uploaded the next time you open Meetings. • Meetings uses your device's microphone, so it hears the room, including an online meeting on a nearby speaker. It doesn't join calls or record other apps. AFTER THE MEETING When you stop, the recording uploads straight to your organisation's Business AI Platform and shows Uploaded once it arrives. Uploads keep going after you leave the app and can be limited to Wi-Fi. If you're still offline after a few automatic retries, tap Retry sync. Results appear on the platform after upload, not in this app: • A transcript with speakers separated, which you can label with each person's name. Where your organisation has turned on voice matching, the platform can suggest names for voices it recognises. • A summary with the action items from the discussion. • Corrections from your organisation's vocabulary of names, acronyms and industry terms, where it keeps one. ASK YOUR AI LATER Your organisation's AI can search the meetings you have access to, across transcripts, titles, summaries and speakers. Ask things like: "What did we agree with the contractor on Tuesday?" "Which actions from last week's budget review are mine?" ON YOUR DEVICE • Play back, rename or save a copy of the audio from the recordings list. New titles carry through to the platform. • Choose how long your device keeps its copy once the platform has processed it. Recordings that haven't uploaded are never auto-deleted. • Deleting an uploaded recording in the app removes only the copy on your device. Deleting one that hasn't uploaded yet loses it. Let everyone know before you record, and follow your organisation's policies and the laws that apply where you are.
