FireTone turns your SIP extension into a phone that feels native. Register against your own PBX, then dial from a keypad that behaves like the one already on your phone. Calls ring, hold, mute and transfer through the operating system's own call interface, so they appear on the lock screen and in your call history alongside every other call. CALLING - Register to your SIP server over TCP or TLS - HD voice with Opus, G.729 and G.711, in an order you choose - Calls run through the system call interface, so hold, mute, speaker and Bluetooth work the way you expect - DTMF tones for phone menus - FireTone can become your default phone app and handle mobile calls too CONTACTS AND HISTORY - Your existing contacts, with a SIP address added to whichever ones you like - One list of recent calls covering both your SIP line and your mobile calls - Favourites for the people you call most RECORDING - Record a SIP call with one tap, or set it to ask every time, or always - Both sides are mixed into one file - Recordings stay on your phone. FireTone never uploads them - Mark any contact as never recorded PRIVACY - Your SIP password is held in the system keystore and sent only to your own server - Contacts, call history and recordings are read and stored on the device - No analytics, no advertising, no tracking WHAT YOU NEED FireTone does not come with a phone service. You need a SIP account from your own PBX or provider: a username, a password and a server address.
