Rackup: Ticket Wallet

Every ticket you carry, in your pocket, ready at the gate. Rackup is a wallet for the tickets and licences you already hold. Photograph your white card, your forklift licence, your working at heights certificate — Rackup reads what is printed on them and keeps them ready for the next induction. PHOTOGRAPH IT, DON'T TYPE IT Point the camera at the card. Rackup reads the name, the number and the expiry off the front and shows you what it read. You check it and confirm it. Nothing is saved until you say it is right. If a field can't be read, or there was never a card to begin with, you can type it yourself. KNOW BEFORE IT LAPSES Rackup tells you when a ticket is getting close to its expiry, so you find out at home instead of at the gate at half past six in the morning. Where a ticket has no expiry date printed on it, Rackup says so — it will never invent a date you never agreed to. SHOW IT AT THE GATE Open your pass and a supervisor can scan the code to see which of your tickets are current. No app to install on their end. If the regulator has a public licence check, Rackup points them at it. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Your own tickets are on your phone. Basements, steel sheds, and dead spots on site don't stop you producing them. YOUR TICKETS, YOURS TO TAKE Send your tickets to an employer who has never heard of Rackup.
