Full description

The first thing you do is rosin your bow. The second thing you do is tune. Generic guitar tuners don't understand the unique overtones and frequencies of a bowed string. Rosin is a beautifully designed, highly accurate chromatic tuner built exclusively for the orchestral and acoustic string player. Whether you are practicing in your bedroom, warming up in the orchestra pit, or preparing for a gig, Rosin’s custom algorithm isolates your pitch instantly, giving you stage-ready accuracy without the clutter. FEATURES: • Tailored for Strings: Dedicated modes for Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass. • Advanced Temperaments: Switch between Equal Temperament and Just Intonation (JI) to perfect your ensemble intonation. • Highly Accurate Chromatic Engine: Catch every micro-tone on a gorgeous, high-contrast display. • Adjustable Calibration: Easily adjust your base frequency (A=440Hz, 442Hz, etc.) to match your orchestra or piano. • Reference Tones: Play pitch-perfect audio tones to tune by ear or practice with a drone. • Distraction-Free UI: A sleek, dark-mode design that looks beautiful and reads clearly on your music stand from a distance. Built by musicians, for musicians. Prepare for a perfect performance with Rosin.

What's new

Fixes for buying and restoring Pro, and more accurate readings. • Already own Pro? Unlocking it again now restores it instead of failing. • Purchases approved later and redeemed promo codes unlock Pro when you return to the app. • The Pro screen loads reliably, even right after launch. • Pro settings come back if Google Play briefly can't confirm your purchase. • Notes an octave or a twelfth from the drone show correctly. • A softer note an octave lower now replaces the old one.
