Full description
DEAD ON is a precision game of timing, aim and nerve: twenty-nine minigames, measured to the millisecond, and eight ways to play them. Every day brings a daily five and a new Ladder to climb, the same for the whole world. Around them: endless gauntlets, a weekly run, sudden death, duels with friends, and practice and zen. THE DAILY FIVE Once a day you get five short rounds, the same five as everyone else, and one go at them. Each round scores out of 100, so a day is out of 500. It arrives at midnight, takes about two minutes, and has no retries. Your streak, level and rank grow from it; a shield covers the odd missed day. Each day's total also earns you a title. POTATO is the bottom. ATOMIC CLOCK is the top. TWENTY-NINE MINIGAMES The daily deals five of them, different every day. - STOP THE CLOCK: stop a timer on the time a needle showed. The digits vanish partway. - HOLD IT: press and hold for an exact stretch of time, with no timer on screen. - THE COUNT: tap an exact number of times before the bar runs out. - THE RING: tap the instant a growing disc fills the ring. - THE NEEDLE: catch a sweeping needle that speeds up and slows down. - THE DROP: one weight falls, one rises. Tap the instant they are level. - THE DUEL: two needles spin toward each other. Tap when they cross. - THE ECHO: hear a gap, then tap it back twice, exactly as long. - THE CUT: cut an unmarked bar at a given fraction of its length, by eye. - THE GHOST: a dot flashes and is gone. Tap where it was. - THE FLARE: three flares land. Tap the one that lights, fast. - THE DRIFT: hold to rise, let go to fall. Stay inside a moving band. - THE SIGNAL: four pads flash a pattern. Play it back in order and in time. - THE PULSE: a beat plays four times and stops. Keep counting and tap the beat you were given. - THE SYNC: land two fingers, one from each hand, at the exact same instant. - THE STACK: a block sweeps back and forth. Drop it flush on the one below. - THE SLIDE: pull back a puck and let go. Stop it inside the ring. - THE TRACE: keep your thumb on a spark that will not hold still. - THE COMBINATION: watch three stops dialed in, then dial them back from memory. - THE TIGHTROPE: cross a wire to the far end, leaning into the gusts. - THE ANGLE: spin a needle to an exact angle, with no protractor. - THE TOSS: pull down, let go, and peak exactly on the mark. - THE RICOCHET: a ball banks off the walls. Tap the instant it hits the lit pad. - THE CALIPER: a bar stands upright. Open two jaws sideways to exactly its length. - THE SWARM: motes land in bunches, then vanish. Dial in exactly how many there were. - THE LANDING: a ball is thrown and crosses into the dark. Tap where it lands. - THE LOCKPICK: slide a pin along a lock you can only feel. Release it on the seat. - THE BRAKE: hold to brake a rolling car, and stop its nose on the line. - THE POUR: hold to pour a thick stream, and stop the glass on the line. MORE WAYS TO PLAY - THE LADDER: one game for everyone each day, harder every level until you miss. Retry all day. - GAUNTLET: endless rounds, three lives, harder as you go. - WEEKLY: the same gauntlet for everyone all week, with unlimited retries. - SUDDEN DEATH: one life and faster rounds. - DUELS: every result you share is a link. Open it and you play their exact rounds against their scores. KEEPING SCORE - A daily streak, with shields that cover a missed day. - XP and levels, with a rank seal that climbs from iron to DEAD ON. - 26 medals, mirrored to Play Games achievements. - World leaderboards for every ranked mode. - A daily quest, the same for everyone. - Per-round averages with mastery stars. - Twelve accent themes, unlocked by level. - Practice and Zen for Pro: any round, on repeat, with or without a clock. - An optional daily reminder. You do not need an account to play. Signing in to Google Play Games is optional and adds the leaderboards and achievements. Pro removes the forced ads, unlocks every theme, and opens practice on any round.
