Sefer - Kabbalah & Gematria

Two things sit at the centre of kabbalistic study: a diagram and a number. Sefer gives you both - the Tree of Life you can walk through with your thumb, and a gematria calculator that weighs any word you can type. THE TREE OF LIFE The full diagram, fully interactive: ten sephirot on three pillars, joined by twenty-two paths, with Daat drawn in but not counted. Tap a sphere for its Hebrew name, title, pillar, planet, meaning, and what it becomes in each of the four worlds. Its Names card gives the divine name, archangel, angelic choir and heaven after Mathers, and any of them can be weighed with one tap. Run the lightning flash to watch the order of emanation descend from Keter to Malkut. THE TWENTY-TWO PATHS Each path carries one Hebrew letter, divided as the Sefer Yetzirah divides them: three mothers, seven doubles, twelve simples. Every path shows its astrological attribution, its Major Arcana card, what the Sefer Yetzirah itself gives the letter (element, planet, day, month, a place in the body), and its name among the Thirty-Two Paths of Wisdom. The Golden Dawn arrangement is the default, and the app says so; switch to Lévi's French order or Achad's reversed Tree to see the other ways the keys have been laid. GEMATRIA, EIGHT WAYS Type or paste a Hebrew word and see it under every method at once: Standard, Ordinal, Reduced, Final forms, Inclusive (kolel), Building, Triangular and Full spelling (milui). Greek words are calculated too, by isopsephy. Atbash, Albam and Avgad turn a word into its cipher, and each result can be weighed like any other. NO HEBREW KEYBOARD NEEDED An on-screen Hebrew and Greek keypad is built in, with the five final forms marked. Vowel points, spaces and punctuation are ignored, so pasted text just works. A Latin helper suggests a spelling from "shalom" - and tells you plainly it is a guess, not a conversion. WORDS THAT WEIGH THE SAME Every result is checked against nearly four hundred curated words, so you see at once what shares your number, and what comes within one when nothing matches exactly. YHVH is 26. Echad, "one", is 13 - and so is Ahavah, "love", which is the observation the whole practice was built on. The Hebrew date in both scripts, with Rosh Chodesh, the length of the year and the letter of the month. THIRTY-TWO DAYS Ten sephirot and twenty-two letters make thirty-two paths of wisdom. THE 231 GATES Every letter joined once with every other, as the Sefer Yetzirah describes: pick a letter on the wheel, see its twenty-one gates, and weigh any pair.
