Initiative MK-petnet is an online platform for registration, advertising and sale of pets. By registering your pet, you will be able to confirm your identity as a pet owner in an integrated manner, which will give you a certificate and the opportunity to advertise your pet on the platform, whether it is for the promotion of pet exhibitions, for adoption or for sale. MK-petnet is an independent initiative aimed at promoting high standards for advertising, adoption and sale of pets online. MK-petnet is a concept that integrates data on pets, their owners and service providers such as veterinarians, groomers and hotel pet stays. MK-petnet enables automatic verification of the pet, its owner, as well as data on the health status, breed, age, gender and welfare of the animal. Registration By submitting a request and registering the microchip number of your pet, you can become a member of the platform and access the database with a unique QR code via your mobile phone. The verification of the data in the database is done by the doctor of veterinary medicine who performed the microchip application. Such access allows for continuous online verification of the accuracy and content of the data in the database. When information about pets is advertised on the Internet, there is a discrepancy between the advertisement and reality in terms of the age, health status and origin of the animal, and information about the health status and welfare of the pets is missing. The integral concept of the database represents an opportunity to obtain all data about the animal in its entirety. The automatic database system allows for data changes when there is a change in ownership of pets. Internationalization A large part of pets are subject to international cooperation and trade, with adoption, sale and purchase being carried out via the Internet. For this purpose, a large number of databases in different European countries have been united in EUROPETNET, with which association MK-petnet has a preliminary agreement for equal membership. The main goal of https://www.europetnet.org MK-petnet is to establish a single database of pets in Europe for the benefit of animals, i.e. integrating data of owners with their pets anywhere in Europe. EUROPETNET as part of the EUROPETNET network allows you to make information about your pet available in a large number of European interconnected databases for pet owners and sellers. The use of the QR code on MK-petnet as part of EUROPETNET allows for faster completion of all cross-border formalities. The second objective is to provide protective measures for future pet owners. Therefore, we provide the right to access the full history of their future pets in terms of breeding practices, health status, and pet welfare. and The third goal is to implement responsible ownership of pet breeders and owners, to raise awareness, sensitize the public and educate citizens about the importance of having a controlled, transparent system for the registration, advertising and sale of pets.
