WakaBuddy

WakaBuddy turns walking into something you do with people. Your steps count from the phone in your pocket, or from Health Connect if you wear a watch. Nothing to start or stop — open the app and today is already there. Then it shows you where you stand: against your friends, against your group, against yesterday. WALK WITH PEOPLE, NOT ALONE • Friends board — see who's ahead today, this week, this month. Passing someone you know is worth more than any badge. • Groups — the office, the estate, the church, the gym crew. A shared board, a group chat, and a leaderboard that resets every week. • Challenges — a week, a month, a step target; invite anyone with a code. • Group vs group — put two groups head to head for a week. • Walking now — see when a friend is out walking, send a cheer, or join them. A LITTLE PRESSURE, THE GOOD KIND • Streaks, with shields for the day life gets in the way. • Stakes — a group agrees on a daily minimum and a small forfeit for missing it. Drinks money, not a fine; the app keeps the tally. • Nudges — a tap to remind a friend the day isn't over yet. ON THE GO A walking screen for when you're actually out: big numbers, the route you've taken, a "take me back" line to where you started, and the track that's playing with pause and skip right there. Tell your friends you're walking with one tap. YOUR MONTH, WRAPPED At the end of every month (and every year), your steps, your best day, your favourite day of the week, and how far that adds up to on a map. Made to be shared. PRIVATE WHERE IT SHOULD BE Your steps are visible to friends and groups you chose. Weight, height, and where exactly you walked are yours alone — a shared walk shows its shape, never the street. Sign out of every device from Settings anytime. PLUS Free gets you everything above. Plus adds a personal walking coach that knows your week, weekly insights, your full history with export, and a heatmap of every walk. Try it free; keep it if it helps. Built in Lagos for anyone with a phone and somewhere to walk.
