Vantage Photo Planner

Vantage — The photographer's forecast Some mornings, the light is everything. Vantage tells you when. Built for landscape, travel, and street photographers who know what they're after — but need to know when conditions are likely to arrive. No generic weather app, no clutter, no guessing. TIERED VERDICTS YOU CAN ACT ON Vantage analyses fog, low cloud, light quality, wind, temperature gradients, atmospheric pressure, and dozens of other variables across multiple forecast models. The output: a four-tier confidence rating. — Tier 1: Conditions are aligning. High likelihood, set the alarm. — Tier 2: Strong potential. Worth the early start. — Tier 3: Possible, but uncertain. Plan with a backup. — Tier 4: Conditions unfavourable. Each verdict comes with reasoning. You see WHY the rating is what it is — not just a score. HONEST ABOUT UNCERTAINTY Weather forecasting is never certain. When models disagree, Vantage holds back from a confident verdict. You see the uncertainty, not a false promise. The app is a tool for better decisions — not a guarantee. BUILT AROUND YOUR SHOOTS Save your favourite spots. Switch between sunrise, sunset, midday, and night modes. Pin a custom location anywhere in the world. Choose from photographer-focused presets: Fog, Soft Golden Light, Storm, Woodland, Crepuscular Rays, Cloud Inversion, Harsh Light, Astro — or build your own. PLAN THE JOURNEY, NOT JUST THE SHOOT Once you've picked a location, Vantage works out the drive time, factors in your prep and walk-in, and tells you exactly when to set the alarm. One tap navigates you straight there. SMART NOTIFICATIONS Tap the bell. Pick your minimum tier and how much warning you want. Vantage watches your saved locations and pings you when conditions align — early enough to plan the drive, prep the gear, set the alarm. No spam. No false positives.
