TuMag Streamer

TuMag Streamer turns a phone into an automatic camera at the mat. Mount it on a tripod, pick the mat, and leave it. Every fight is recorded as its own video with the live scoreboard overlaid, and uploaded as soon as the fight ends. Nobody has to press record, and nobody has to cut a day-long stream into single bouts afterwards. REQUIRES TUMAG This app is made for organizers running their tournament with TuMag. It takes the tournament, the mat and its access from a QR code generated there, and it follows the scoreboard to know when a fight starts and ends. Without a TuMag tournament there is nothing for it to record. More at tumag.app HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan the QR code from the tournament manager - nothing to type, nothing to configure 2. Put the phone on a tripod at the mat and pick the mat number 3. Start recording and leave it alone for the rest of the day WHAT YOU GET - One video per fight instead of one long stream - Scoreboard, names and clubs overlaid on the picture - Scoring moments marked in the video, so a throw can be jumped to directly - Automatic upload, with every video attached to the right fight - An offline queue: if the Wi-Fi drops, recordings are kept and sent later - A live overview in TuMag showing which mats are recording and how far the uploads have got BEFORE THE EVENT A built-in pre-flight check records a short clip and reports whether this particular phone keeps up, whether server and upload work, and whether storage and battery will last the day. Run it once per device and you know where you stand before the first fight rather than during it. WHAT YOU NEED - A tournament run with TuMag, on the same Wi-Fi as the phone - Android 10 or newer, 4 GB RAM or more - A tripod and a charger - a full day does not fit in one battery charge Audio recording is switched off by default and has to be enabled per event.
