Full description
Try Easier helps you build habits by making the hardest part, the beginning, easier. It's a habit progression system: your goal starts small and grows once you've shown you're ready for more. The strategy Start with an easier goal. Hit that goal. Earn a higher goal. Why it works Habits are hardest in the beginning. Every time you show up for your habit, the habit gets a little bit easier. That happens whether you do it once a week or every day, just at different rates. Most habit trackers start you at every day, which makes the hardest part of building a habit even harder. What's inside Your routine, sorted by how often things happen: Habits (Weekly): These are things you're trying to start or do more often every week. This is where the progression engine lives, helping you grow your habits over time. Daily Goals (Daily): Water intake, push ups per day, protein intake. This is for things which naturally align better with 7 days per week. This is what most apps offer as the whole experience. Planning For people who prefer rigid planning, we have reminders. If you prefer more flexible planning, you can use cues to tie habits to various parts of the day. A cue acts as a trigger that already happens every day, like after you get off of work, or before you go to bed. By tying new habits to stable habits, you avoid the clock while building the behavior on stable ground. James Clear would call it habit stacking and behavioral scientists would call it implementation intentions. Originally they were called cues, and nearly 100 studies have proven them to be highly effective in making a habit stick. Use Try Easier to - Start working out, running, or going to the gym - Read more, meditate, or practice an instrument - Drink more water and hit your protein goal - Remember your medication and daily supplements - Build a morning routine or a bedtime routine with cues - Rediscover a hobby you set down years ago - Count down to a trip, a concert, or a visit home How it's different - New habits have weekly goals instead of daily goals - No daily streaks to break - Miss a week, try again next week - Your goal grows as your habit does - No nagging. You only get the reminders you set. Who it's for If you've downloaded a habit tracker before, stalled out, and deleted it, this was built for you. If executive function costs you more than it seems to cost everyone else, whether that's ADHD or a smartphone-shaped attention span, this was built for you too. If you're ready to try a new approach to habit formation, I invite you to Try Easier. Privacy policy - https://tryeasier.app/privacy Terms of use - https://tryeasier.app/terms
