Tonata: Drone Metronome Beats

Tonata is a music practice companion that runs a drone, a metronome, and a beat — together, in one clean app. Set a tonic drone for intonation, a precise click for timing, and a real groove underneath, all locked to the same tempo. One purchase. No subscription, no accounts, no ads. DRONE Hold any pitch while you practice scales and intonation. Up to six notes at once, in equal or just intonation, with timbres from a pure sine and organ, to sampled cello. Tune your reference pitch for period or ensemble work. Or step a root note through a chord progression — ii–V–I, 12-bar blues, modal vamps, or your own sequence drawn on the circle of fifths — locked to the metronome. METRONOME 30 to 300 BPM. Simple, compound, and odd meters. Build custom accent patterns, choose from eight click sounds, tap your tempo, or follow the visual pulse for silent practice. Program gradual tempo changes for speed work and save setlists for rehearsal. BEATS Real sampled drum patterns across jazz, rock, latin, and more. Adjust swing, intensity, and mute or solo individual kit elements to sit a groove behind whatever you're working on. ALL THREE, TOGETHER The point of Tonata is that the drone, metronome, and beat run at once, in time, behind a persistent control bar — so you can adjust without losing your place. Save your favourite combinations as one-tap presets, like "G major drone + 60 BPM swing", and recall them next session. PAY ONCE Tonata is a single purchase. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads. There's no account to create — the app opens straight to practice, and everything stays on your device. BUILT FOR MUSICIANS Strings, voice, fretted instruments, and keyboard players who practice with a drone, a click, and a groove. Whether you're a student working on intonation or timing, Tonata is built to be reliable, modern, and out of your way. Background audio keeps playing when you switch apps or lock your screen, with lock-screen controls. A Bluetooth latency indicator with a manual offset keeps your headphones in sync. In tune. In time.
