Full description
TapFlow runs tap sequences that you define yourself, against any app on your phone. HOW IT WORKS You describe what to do as a list of text anchors that appear on screen — "Share", "Next", "Save", and so on — and TapFlow performs each tap when it sees the matching screen, driven by files you drop into a folder you pick. Common uses • Auto-paste a caption from a .txt file into a draft post • Step through any multi-tap workflow without touching the phone • Batch-process media files arriving from cloud sync HOW TAPFLOW USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API TapFlow uses the Android AccessibilityService API. This is the core of how the app works. It is the only way an app can read the label on another app's button and act on it. The AccessibilityService lets TapFlow: • Read the on-screen text of the single app you select, so it can find the button you described by its label — "Share", "Next", "Save", or any other text you type in yourself. • Tap those buttons for you, and paste a caption into a text field, while a run you started is in progress. Neither is achievable through a narrower Android API, which is why TapFlow requests this permission. What you should know before you turn it on: • TapFlow is a general-purpose automation utility. It is not an assistive tool designed for users with disabilities. • The permission is off until you grant it. TapFlow explains exactly what it will read before sending you to the system settings. • TapFlow asks Android to deliver it screen events from the one app you picked, and no other. • It acts only while a run you started is in progress. • Screen content is never stored, logged or transmitted. TapFlow has no internet permission, no servers and no analytics. • You can revoke the permission at any time in Android Settings > Accessibility > TapFlow, and TapFlow stops immediately. PRIVACY • No data leaves your device. No analytics, no telemetry, no servers. • You pick the watch folder. TapFlow can read only that folder. • You pick the target app. TapFlow asks Android to send it screen events from that one app and no other. POWER-USER FEATURES • User-editable anchors — nothing about any app is built in • Inspect screen: see what text an app exposes, so you can write anchors for it yourself • Throttled dispatch with per-cycle and per-batch wait values • A long break every tenth task to avoid burst patterns • Sibling .caption.txt is pasted for you • Optional cover-image step for apps whose picker allows it • Persistent file list with re-queue, remove and retry-all-skipped • Built-in step-by-step tap log for diagnosing a stuck run

What's new

First release. • Watch a folder for video + caption pairs and hand each to the app you pick • Describe every tap as on-screen text anchors — nothing is hard-coded • Inspect screen: see what text an app exposes, to write your own sequences • Adjustable pacing between runs, with a longer break every third • File list with re-queue, remove and retry • Step-by-step tap log for diagnosing a stuck run
