The Flame · Mindset

The Flame is a reflective practice built around 49 words. Each word is a doorway — into a way of thinking, a way of moving through the world. You read a short essay, write a reflection, and carry a challenge into your days. No streaks. No notifications pushing you back. Just the slow, honest work of tending your mind. THE PRACTICE Each word has three steps: — Read: A short essay exploring the word and what it asks of you. — Reflect: Write your own thoughts. Your reflections are encrypted — no one reads them, including us. — Carry: A challenge to take the word off the screen and into real life. 49 WORDS ACROSS FOUR PHASES The journey moves through four phases — Source, Kindle, Burn, and Illuminate. Each phase builds on the last. There is no rush. One word a week is a year of practice. YOUR FLAME As you work through the words, your flame changes. It responds to how consistently you show up — not as a reward system, but as a mirror. The flame reflects the truth of your practice. NO DARK PATTERNS The Flame does not use streaks, badges, or push notifications designed to drag you back. It trusts you to return when you are ready. The app is quiet by design. PRIVACY Your reflections are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored. They are yours alone. The Flame is for people who want to think more carefully, live more deliberately, and understand themselves more honestly. Begin.
