A shape changes when it has company. A leaf becomes a rhythm; an arch becomes a field of openings; a small turn sends the whole arrangement in a new direction. Tessloft gives you a working table for those choices. Begin in the motif drawer. Browse botanical, geometric, coastal, ornamental, architectural and playful forms, search for an idea, or keep a motif you want to revisit. Open a detail to see its visual character and a concrete suggestion for trying it on the workbench. The workbench shows the pattern you are making. Change the number of columns, open or close the uniform gap, and turn the motif in quarter-turns. Mirror flips alternate columns. Stagger shifts alternate rows by half a cell. Choose a paper color to change the space around the printed tiles. Each control changes the actual preview. Use Undo and Redo to revisit recent adjustments. Your working draft stays separate from saved editions, so you can keep exploring without quietly rewriting a print you already chose to preserve. Starting sets offer another way in. Open an idea, try its suggested arrangement, and use the short directions to explore a different gap, turn or repeat size. Every starting set remains editable through the same workbench controls. When a version feels worth keeping, save it with a title and a private note. The print rack shows your own rendered editions. Open any one as a new draft, change it and save another version. The original remains available. Select two saved editions for the comparison table. See both actual patterns and compare the motif, columns, gap, rotation, mirror, stagger and paper settings. There is no score to chase: the useful difference is the one you can see in your own work. Export a square PNG when you want an image outside the app. The export contains the rendered pattern, while private notes stay out of the image. Android’s document picker lets you choose where the file goes. Rename an edition, revise its note, remove a print with confirmation or bring it back with the short Undo option. A print can be finished for now and still become the beginning of something else.
