TENdays Event Planner

TENdays is for the people who get involved: the committee behind the village fete, the fun run, the street party, the music night. Answer ten minutes of questions about your event and it turns them into a plan the whole committee can run and the council will accept. What you get • A task list with real deadlines, every one counted back from the day of your event, with bank holidays taken into account. • A walk-through of the Temporary Event Notice: whether your event appears to need one, who can give it, and the date to serve it by in clear working days. • A risk assessment built around published guidance for the things you are actually doing: a BBQ, a bouncy castle, a bar, live music, fireworks, a road closure. Confirm each control, and the lead signs it off. • One place for the paperwork: insurance certificates, permissions, the documents your council asks for, and a council-ready pack of your whole plan as a single PDF. • Chat by subject, with polls, so the discussion about the bar stays with the bar. • A finance tab for ticket sales and costs, and a printable briefing for everyone helping on the day. Built for committees, not for one organiser. A lead sets the event up, invites the others by email, and hands out areas of responsibility. Next year, the same event comes back with everything already filled in. TENdays is completely free. It is a planning tool, not legal or professional advice: its deadlines and figures come from published guidance, which varies by authority, and your council has the final word. Made in Oxfordshire for events in England and Wales.
