Tarcza

A caller claims to be from your bank and demands immediate action. A friend asks for a BLIK payment code. A text says you owe a small delivery fee. What will you do? Tarcza is a game that helps you practice spotting scams. Read short stories, choose a response and see what happens next. Each decision comes with an explanation to help you notice warning signs and consider a safer next step. SIX EVERYDAY STORIES • A fake call from the bank. • An urgent request for a BLIK payment code. • A text asking for an extra delivery payment. • An imitation of a loved one's voice. • An investment promising easy returns. • Workplace information and the use of AI tools. PLAY ON YOUR OWN OR TOGETHER Play at your own pace or share one phone. Talk about your choices and compare the clues you noticed. All six stories work offline. Choose guided training with explanations after each decision, or a challenge with a review at the end. CHOOSE HOW MUCH EXPLANATION YOU NEED Read a simpler explanation or explore more detail. Use larger text and read-aloud options. Tarcza is available in Polish and English. Progress is saved on your device so you can return to a story later. FOUR EVERYDAY HABITS Stop. Verify. Secure. Report. Explanations and the story summary help you practice these steps. Revisit completed training results in your local history. A CONVERSATION ACROSS GENERATIONS Tarcza helps families and friends talk about digital safety. We recommend that younger players, from around age six, play with a trusted adult who can help explain the situations. Some examples use Polish services and payment methods. NO ACCOUNT OR ADS You do not need to create an account. Choices and progress stay on your device. The app has no chat or voice calls. The calls, messages, characters and transactions in the stories are fictional. Tarcza does not make real calls or payments. It provides practice in recognizing threats; it does not scan your phone or block scammers. Support: [email protected]
