Your cards. Your Korea. TapSeoul brings three useful parts of your Korea trip together: reading a supported physical prepaid T-money card, keeping a personal map of places you have visited, and finding public bins in Seoul. YOUR CARDS, KEPT SEPARATE Check a card’s balance with NFC. Save several cards, give each one a nickname, and see its last-read balance and up to 300 balance readings. Read the card again to update it. These saved readings are not a payment history. YOUR OWN MAP OF KOREA Mark places you have visited on Korea and city maps, including Seoul. Add a date when you know it and optionally record an overnight stay. Share each selected map as an image to keep or send to friends. FIND VISITS FROM YOUR PHOTOS With your permission, TapSeoul reads photo location and date information on your device to suggest visited places. Review the results before saving. You can undo your latest photo import. Your photos are not uploaded. OPTIONAL LOCATION HELP Use “I’m here now” to find your current area, then confirm before saving. You can also mark places manually without photo or location permissions. There is no continuous location tracking. OPTIONAL RECENT RECORDS — BETA You can choose to read recent records returned by a supported card. This feature has not been verified against real transactions. Amounts, dates and transaction types may be incorrect or missing. It is not a complete trip or payment history. SEOUL PUBLIC BINS Open the separate Trash tab to browse public bins in Seoul. General is selected by default; turn General, Recycling and Cigarette butts on or off individually. Tap “Bins near me” for a one-time location lookup and the closest matching bin. Open the same Korean address in NAVER Map or Google Maps. Bin locations and availability may change. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Cards and visited places are stored on your device. TapSeoul provides no account sync or in-app backup and restore. Deleting the app or its data may erase your records, and TapSeoul cannot recover them on a new phone. BEFORE YOU READ A CARD • Requires a compatible NFC phone and a supported physical prepaid T-money card. • Bank cards, mobile transit cards and other card types are not currently supported. • Balances reflect the last successful reading, not a live update. • TapSeoul only reads cards. It does not charge, top up or transfer money. LANGUAGES English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, French, Spanish and German. The app includes bottom banner ads. Advertising privacy choices are available where applicable. Optional usage analytics is off until you opt in.
