Dūbu is an independent study app. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government, government agency or public authority. Dūbu does not administer citizenship tests, process applications, or provide any official government service. Always confirm official rules, dates and requirements with the official sources listed at the end of this description. Dūbu turns the history, culture, institutions and civic knowledge a country expects of new citizens into swipeable flashcards and daily quizzes — readable in your own language, and usable offline. Whether you are preparing for a naturalisation test, settling into a new home, planning a move, or simply curious, Dūbu helps you study with confidence. Sweden is live now, with topical decks covering society, governance and daily life, plus history, traditions, nature, language, food, music, film and the Vikings. A selection of decks is free. RICH, SWIPEABLE FLASHCARDS Move through a country one card at a time. A card can bring together a summary, key facts, a "Why it matters" callout, a "Did you know?" snippet, a long-form story, an attributed quote, timelines, key figures, tags, and links to sources and Wikipedia — across ten card types. READ ALOUD Every card has a Listen button that reads the content aloud in your study language, with phonetic pronunciation for tricky names. STUDY IN YOUR OWN LANGUAGE The interface is translated into a wide range of languages, and card content can be translated on your device using Google ML Kit. It works offline once the language pack is downloaded, and the text never leaves your device. WAYS TO TEST YOURSELF Deck quiz — a quick check on a single deck, drawn only from the cards in that deck, so you can confirm a topic has stuck before moving on. Trials — unlimited, self-paced practice drawn from the decks you own, with private results, so you can drill a topic until it is solid. Free, always. Arena — a fresh daily challenge, scored on our servers, feeding a leaderboard with Today, Yesterday and All-time rankings. Passport Fokus — timed practice tests built from exam-syllabus topics. These are unofficial practice questions written by Dūbu, not real or leaked exam questions. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Build day streaks with optional reminders, and climb a ten-tier rank ladder for each country. Your dashboard keeps best scores, best rank, streak, token balance and per-deck progress in one place. YOUR DATA Your data is stored in an encrypted database using SQLCipher and the Android Keystore. Sign in with Google, and delete your account and its data at any time. FREE AND PREMIUM A selection of Swedish decks is free, along with all text-to-speech, unlimited deck quizzes and Trials practice, a free Arena attempt every day, streaks, ranks and the leaderboard. You can unlock further decks with one-time purchases, or buy token packs for extra Arena attempts and Passport Fokus tests. No ads, no subscriptions.
