Full description
The pieces are never rigged against you. That is a promise, and it is the reason Stilval exists. In every tray, the first piece is guaranteed to fit somewhere — as long as anything fits at all. The game never hands you a hopeless board to make you watch an ad. Go a while without a long bar and your odds of getting one quietly improve. The generator only ever works in your favour, and it is simple enough that we can explain all of it in a paragraph. This one. Drag pieces onto the 8×8 board. Fill a whole row or column and it clears. Nothing falls, nothing rushes you, there is no timer. Think as long as you like. The two long diagonals count as well, corner to corner, whatever colour they are — rare enough to be worth spotting. THE STILVAL Clear two or more lines at once and the whole board drops. Anything that fills up on the way down clears as well, and counts double. That is a Stilval — the moment the board collapses and takes half of itself with it. It is the one thing this game has that others do not, and it is worth setting up. QUIET BY DESIGN No forced ads. No interstitials between rounds. No pop-up begging you to come back. No account, no login, no email. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent, nothing leaves your phone. There is no server to send it to. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL AT ALL On a plane, on the metro, in a basement, abroad without roaming. Stilval never needs a connection — not for the game, not for the daily puzzle, not even for its own typefaces. Install it once and it works forever. FOUR WAYS TO PLAY Endless — play until the board fills up. One shake and one rotate per run, and you can take back your last move. Daily — the same 30 pieces for everyone on earth, drawn from the date alone. No guarantees, no helpers, no undo. That is what makes the scores worth comparing. Come back tomorrow and keep your streak going. Challenge — every few moves the game drops a stone in your way, and three goals give the run a shape. The stone lands on a plain random empty square, never aimed at the spot that would hurt most. Clear its row or column to crack it, and again to be rid of it — and they come thicker the longer you last. 30 pieces — thirty, then it is over. How much can you get out of a fixed hand? EARNED, NOT SOLD Three colour palettes are yours from the first minute. Six more you earn by playing: ten lines cleared, fifty, two hundred and fifty, a Stilval of three lines, a seven-day streak, a score of 2,500. And a few arrive on their own when their stretch of the calendar comes round — once given, they are yours for good, with no countdown anywhere. There is no currency, no wallet, no timer on a chest. You cannot buy any of it, and there is nothing to grind. PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Lock your phone mid-game, take a call, run out of battery — the run is still there when you come back, board, pieces and score. And your record keeps count of the rest: games played, lines cleared, your biggest Stilval, your longest combo, and a month at a time of the days you did the daily. MADE TO BE CALM Muted colours instead of neon. Full dark and light themes. Every animation respects your reduced-motion setting. Sound and vibration can be turned off and stay off. Stilval is a small, quiet game that respects your attention, your battery and your data. If you have been looking for a block puzzle that does not treat you as inventory, this is it.

What's new

Sharing a daily now sends something worth receiving. Finish the daily, tap Share, and the message carries the board you left behind and a link to that same puzzle at stilval.com — where whoever you sent it to can play it in a browser, in their own language. It used to be a score and nothing else. Also: on Android 15 the status bar icons take their colour from the palette you are playing in, so the clock cannot fade into the background.
