Sticky Birthdays

Sticky Birthdays keeps a birthday in view until you have reached out. Most birthday reminders disappear the moment they arrive. Sticky Birthdays treats a birthday as open until you tap Done: the birthday card in your notifications, a reminder in the evening while it is still open, and the home screen widget all stay until you have called, texted or written. Tap Done once, and they all go away together. WHAT IT DOES • A birthday card on the day, with Done and a button to reach out (call, message, WhatsApp, Signal or Telegram) • One more reminder in the evening if a birthday is still open, and, if you like, once more the next day • A home screen widget with today's open birthdays, or who is next • Finds birthdays in the calendars on your phone: Google, Exchange and any other calendar your phone syncs • Add birthdays by hand, with or without the year, and a photo if you like • Your reminder time, in your phone's language and date format (12 languages) HONEST ABOUT ANDROID You can swipe the birthday card away. That does not count as done: the card comes back at the next reminder until you tap Done. Battery savers can delay reminders by a few minutes. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics • There is no server: the app has no internet access and sends nothing anywhere • Your birthdays stay on your phone. If Google backup is turned on in your phone's settings, they are part of your phone's backup like other app data; you decide that in Android settings, not in the app • Calendar changes always show a preview first and can be undone
