Store listing

Full description
Stellar Kiosk turns a portrait screen in your restaurant into a self-ordering kiosk. Customers choose from the menu, pay by card on the reader and take a ticket with their order number. FOR BUSINESSES USING STELLAR STORE The app does not work on its own: it needs a store set up in Stellar Store with the kiosk module enabled. Menu, prices, photos, opening hours and brand colours come from the Stellar Store dashboard; there is nothing to set up on the device. The kiosk is paired with a single-use code generated for the store. WHAT IT DOES • Menu with photos by category, dishes with options and meal deals where customers pick each part, with a minimum and maximum per group. • Eat in or take away. • Spanish, English and Swedish, chosen by the customer. • Card payment on a Stripe Terminal reader connected by USB or Bluetooth (for example, WisePad 3). The order is only accepted once the server confirms the payment. • Ticket with the order number on the built-in thermal printer of iMin kiosks. • Orders go straight into the store's POS. • Outside the store's opening hours it shows "Closed" and when it opens again. • If the connection drops or a payment is left unconfirmed, it does not charge another customer and alerts the staff. FOR STAFF PIN-protected technical screen: reader and printer status, test ticket and kiosk mode. Set up as a dedicated device app, it starts by itself when the device is switched on and customers cannot leave it. REQUIREMENTS • Portrait screen of 15 inches or more (at least 1080 x 1920). On smaller screens the app reports that it is not compatible. • Android 8 or later and an internet connection. • A card reader supported by Stripe Terminal. • A Stellar Store account with the kiosk enabled. What's new

On iMin kiosks, the Android bars stay covered even without a managed device; they come back when staff leave to Settings or Play from the technical screen and are covered again on return. The shop decides whether to ask for the customer's name (if not, the customer is called by turn number) and whether the home screen shows the shop name under the logo. While the technical screen is open, the shop panel shows the kiosk as «Under maintenance».
