Browse through your own SSH server — no VPN app, no root, no third-party service. SSH Browser routes all web traffic through your SSH server via a SOCKS5 tunnel. If you have a home server, VPS, or any cloud instance with SSH access, you have everything you need. WHY SSH BROWSER INSTEAD OF CONNECTBOT + SOCKSDROID? The existing approach requires two separate apps: one to manage the SSH tunnel, another to route traffic through it. That means two apps to configure, two to keep running, and VPN system permission granted to a third-party app. SSH Browser handles both in a single app — SSH connection and browser together. No VPN permission.
