SnowPilot

SnowPilot is the ultimate on-mountain companion for skiers and snowboarders. Designed to solve the biggest frustrations of resort riding, SnowPilot combines offline detailed mapping, navigation, live group tracking, and precise activity telemetry into one battery-efficient app. Whether you are navigating massive, interconnected resorts or just trying to find your crew after a wrong turn, SnowPilot keeps you oriented and connected—even when cell service drops. Here's how: - Detailed resort maps: Take the guesswork out of exploring the mountain. Our interactive offline maps help you pick the terrain that perfectly matches your style. Scope out the slope’s elevation profile and width before you commit to a run. To help get oriented quickly, subtle lift animation and 3d perspective bring the resort to life and makes grasping complex mountain connections effortless. - Personalized navigation: Easily navigate to any specific lift or run. Pick your destination, and watch SnowPilot calculate a route tailored to your riding ability. Both building the path and following the directions work 100% offline, keeping you guided even in complete dead zones. - Live friend tracking: Keep the whole crew connected across the mountain with total peace of mind. Create a private group by sharing a link, and see everyone's exact location in real-time on the interactive map. You are always in control: your location is visible only to your invited group, you can temporarily disable sharing, and tracking automatically disables once you exit the resort boundaries. - Advanced activity telemetry: Log every turn. SnowPilot seamlessly tracks your speed, total distance, vertical drop, and run counts throughout the day. Review your stats on the chairlift and analyze your performance in each and every run. Tracking pauses on lifts and breaks to save on battery, and stops automatically once you finish the day so that you never get your drive home mistaken for a fast run. - Battery optimized for the cold: Mountain conditions drain batteries fast. SnowPilot's tracking engine is heavily optimized to run efficiently in the background with minimal power consumption, ensuring your phone survives from first chair to last call. - Sun & Shade mapping: Find the best snow and visibility at any time of day. Our sun and shade map shows you which runs are basking in the sun for softer snow and clear visibility, and which are sitting in the shade preserving the powder. Plan your routes to chase the good light and avoid the icy shadows.
