Shriyam

A verified purohit in India guides your family's pooja one-to-one over video — in your language, at your own home, on a date that suits you. You are the yajamana; your purohit guides every step. WHAT YOU CAN BOOK Festival sevas and everyday pujas and japams: anniversaries and birthdays, a child's namakaranam or annaprasana, vrathams, abhishekams, Navagraha shanti and nakshatra japams, a bhoomi puja for new ground. Satyanarayana Vratam, Lakshmi and Ganapati poojas, Rudrabhishekam, and more — across six categories. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose your seva, then a date and time. Times are shown in your own time zone, not IST, so there is nothing to convert. 2. Share your sankalpa details — names, gotra, nakshatra — so the pooja is performed for your family specifically, not generically. 3. A purohit who matches your language and sampradaya accepts your seva, and you are told who is coming before the day. 4. Your samagri list arrives well in advance, with what to substitute if something is hard to find where you live. 5. On the day you join a private video room. Your purohit guides you through the ritual at your own altar, step by step. WHAT YOU KEEP Every seva is recorded, and the recording is yours to keep — for the family members who could not be there, and for the years afterwards. WHY SHRIYAM Tradition and lineage — verified, not self-declared. Purohits are introduced by name, with their sampradaya and the traditions they perform in. Your language — a pooja explained in a language you actually think in is a different experience from one you only listen to. Nothing generic — your gotra and nakshatra are recited. The sankalpa is for your household, on your occasion. Nobody is rushed — one family at a time, at a time you chose. PRACTICAL THINGS Full refund until 48 hours before your slot. Dakshina afterwards is offered to your satisfaction and is entirely optional. 100% of it goes to your purohit. No account needed to book. We create one from your email when you pay. Shriyam is built for families in the USA keeping a practice alive across an ocean — for the grandmother who wants the vratam done properly, and for the grandchildren who should see it done.
