Nothing lost from the parts of those apps you actually want. HOW IT WORKS Basta! uses Android's accessibility service to recognize the specific short-video viewer on screen and press Back for you. It takes under a second. It needs no internet connection, it never reads your messages or your photos, and it collects no data at all. It does not block Instagram, YouTube or TikTok as a whole. Your normal feed, messages, search and full-length videos all keep working — only the part designed to trap you disappears.
