Recly: Record for Your AI

Recly turns the Galaxy Watch you already wear into an AI recorder. Press Record on your watch or phone, and when you stop, uploading and transcription happen on their own. RECORD • The watch records without your phone and hands recordings over when the phone is back in range. • Assign Recly to the watch's Home key double press to start recording without looking. A tile and a complication are included. • On the phone, start from the app, the Quick Settings tile or the home screen widget. TRANSCRIBE • On phones with 8 GB of RAM or more, transcribe on the device with Qwen3-ASR. No cost and no minute limit. • Or pick one of 14 transcription services, such as AssemblyAI, CLOVA and OpenAI, and use your own API key. The service bills you directly. • Transcripts are saved next to the recording in your Google Drive. TURN IT INTO NOTES WITH YOUR AI Your transcripts live in your own Drive, so an AI that can read your Drive, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can turn them into meeting notes, decisions or Notion pages. Recly comes with ready-made skills for that. NO RECLY SERVER • No Recly account, no server, no analytics. • Drive access is a single permission, drive.file, which reaches only the files Recly created. • Your API key is stored only on this phone and is sent only to the transcription service you chose. • Every path by which data can leave your device is listed in the privacy policy, and the app is open source (AGPL-3.0), so you can check for yourself. The iPhone, Apple Watch, macOS and Windows apps use the same Drive folder. Recording works without a Google account. Uploading to Drive and transcription require connecting one. Requires Android 14 or later; the watch requires Wear OS 5 or later.
