Pardes is a Jewish library with a set time to learn it. Open today's Daf Yomi, the weekly parasha or the day's Tehillim, read it with Rashi under each line, and mark it done. No ads, no account, nothing to buy. PLEASE NOTE: the texts are in the original Hebrew and Aramaic. There is no English translation in the app yet. THE LIBRARY • Tanakh: all 39 books • Mishnah: all 63 tractates • Talmud Bavli: 37 tractates • Musar: 32 books, among them Mesillat Yesharim and Orchot Tzaddikim • Kabbalah: 47 books Search by reference (Berakhot 2a, Deuteronomy 6:4) or by a phrase inside the texts. A READER MADE FOR LEARNING • Rashi on Tanakh and Talmud and Bartenura on the Mishnah, either under each line or after the text, as on a printed page • Nikud on or off, six text sizes, three light backgrounds and two dark • Bookmarks, notes and tabs, so you can follow a source and find your way back CONTEXT FOR EVERY PAGE Tap Context (הקשר) on a page of Talmud, Tanakh, Mishnah or musar to see where you are: the tractate or book, the chapter, the mishnah under discussion, and what has happened up to this point. The Talmud introductions are by Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz. The short summaries were written by machine in advance, and the sheet says so. Nothing is generated on your phone.
