Omniathlon puts more than 1,800 open water races in 79 countries on one map — from a one-kilometre sea swim to the island crossing you've been promising yourself for years — and around the races, a community of people who swim them. FIND A RACE Browse the world map or the list, and narrow down by distance, date, country and water: sea, lake, river. Every race has its own page, with the distances, the date of the next edition and the road to registration. Save the ones you'd like to do and get a reminder the week before. KEEP YOUR SWIM CV The races you've swum become your record: time, placing, photos, the GPS track if you kept one. Your personal map grows with every place you've swum in. Races we don't list yet — solo crossings, small local swims — you can write in by hand, because they count too. MEET THE OTHER SWIMMERS Omniathlon is a community for open water swimmers: follow the people you meet at the start line, add them as friends, look at their swim CVs and their maps, comment on the races you both know — and find out who's going next year. No account needed to browse. Your record stays private until you decide otherwise. Sixteen languages. Free, with no purchases and no ads.

What's new

A new tab bar: Home, Stream, Races, Map and Profile. The Home shows races near you and the latest stories. On the map, tap a group of races to see them in a panel from the bottom. Adding a race to your record is quicker, with what we already know filled in. You can report posts and comments and block other users. The language you choose now stays after you close the app.
