NudgeUp

Is your neck paying the price for your screen time? 📱 Meet NudgeUp — your personal posture coach that watches your back (and your neck) so you don't have to think about it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🦴 WHY YOUR POSTURE MATTERS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Research shows that tilting your head just 30° forward puts 18–22kg of force on your cervical spine — that's the weight of a small child sitting on your neck. Do that for hours every day, and you get text neck: chronic stiffness, headaches, and long-term spinal damage. NudgeUp exists to stop that from happening. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🤖 HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ NudgeUp uses a smart dual-engine system: 📡 SENSOR ENGINE (always-on, battery-smart) Your phone's accelerometer and gyroscope silently track how you're holding your device. When a bad angle is detected, NudgeUp knows — without draining your battery. 📸 CAMERA CHECK (on-demand, 2 seconds) When it's time for your check-in, a gentle notification arrives. Tap it and the front camera does a quick, private posture scan. You get instant feedback with your exact neck angle and spinal load — and one of Buddy's cheeky messages to go with it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✨ KEY FEATURES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔔 Smart reminders — consistent nudges at YOUR chosen interval (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes), even when your posture is perfect 📊 Daily posture score — track your improvement over time on your dashboard 🔥 Streak tracking — build daily habits and keep your streak alive 💪 Suggested exercises — personalised neck & shoulder routines 🦹 Meet Buddy — our lovable Slouch Monster mascot who keeps things fun 🔒 Private by default — camera data never stored, never shared, ever 🎭 600+ unique notifications — no two nudges feel the same ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏆 BUILT FOR REAL LIFE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Whether you're scrolling in bed, working at a desk, or watching Netflix for two hours — NudgeUp keeps running silently in the background and makes sure you don't forget to check in. No gym required. No complicated setup. Just open the app, complete a quick onboarding, set your reminder interval, and let NudgeUp do the rest. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔬 SCIENCE-BACKED ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ NudgeUp's posture engine is built on peer-reviewed research including Hansraj (2014) on cervical spine loads during mobile device use. The spinal load estimates shown in your notifications are grounded in real biomechanics — not guesswork. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔐 YOUR PRIVACY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Camera is used only during active posture checks — never in the background • No photos or videos are ever saved or transmitted • All data is encrypted in transit • You can delete your account and all data at any time from the app Don't let the Slouch Monster win. Download NudgeUp and take back your posture.
