NOX è un'applicazione di blocco chiamate spam per Android. Blocca automaticamente le chiamate da numeri associati a telemarketing, truffe e spam, utilizzando un database dinamico aggiornato quotidianamente. A differenza di molte app simili, NOX non dipende da servizi cloud o analisi esterne: tutte le decisioni vengono prese localmente sul dispositivo. COME FUNZIONA NOX intercetta le chiamate in arrivo prima che il telefono squilli. Se il numero è presente nel database di numeri spam noti, la chiamata viene rifiutata silenziosamente. Se il numero non è riconosciuto, NOX mostra un'interfaccia con tre opzioni: rispondere, rifiutare, oppure rifiutare e aggiungere alla blacklist personale. Il filtraggio avviene interamente sul dispositivo. Nessuna chiamata viene inoltrata a server esterni. FUNZIONALITÀ PRINCIPALI - Blocco automatico dei numeri presenti nel database spam - Blacklist personale modificabile dall'utente - Sincronizzazione programmata del database (ogni 6, 12 o 24 ore, oppure solo manuale) - Statistiche locali mensili delle chiamate bloccate - Modalità opzionale per bloccare tutti i numeri non in rubrica COSA NOX NON FA NOX è progettato con un approccio privacy-first. In particolare: - Non registra le chiamate - Non salva il contenuto delle conversazioni - Non invia la rubrica o i log chiamate a server esterni - Non condivide dati con terze parti per fini pubblicitari - Non utilizza tracker analytics - Non richiede registrazione o account utente L'unico dato che lascia il dispositivo è la richiesta periodica di aggiornamento del database spam, effettuata verso il server NOX su connessione cifrata. PERMESSI RICHIESTI - Servizio di filtraggio chiamate (CallScreeningService): necessario per intercettare le chiamate in arrivo. Obbligatorio per il funzionamento. - Accesso alla rubrica: opzionale, utilizzato solo per riconoscere i contatti salvati ed escluderli dal blocco. - Visualizzazione sopra altre app: necessaria per mostrare l'interfaccia durante le chiamate in arrivo. - Esecuzione in background: necessaria per l'aggiornamento programmato del database. FONTE DEL DATABASE Il database di numeri spam è costruito a partire da segnalazioni pubbliche aggregate, sotto licenza commerciale. Ogni numero ha una classificazione (telemarketing, truffa, call center, sondaggio) e un punteggio di affidabilità. NOX blocca solo i numeri con punteggio alto. COMPATIBILITÀ NOX richiede Android 10 o successivo. Funziona su qualsiasi dispositivo conforme agli standard Android, senza dipendenze da produttori specifici.
