Not A Browser

Not A Browser opens links from other apps and QR codes. There is no way to start somewhere else, so you open the page you were sent, finish, and leave. Two ways in. That is it: - A link from another app. Make Not A Browser your default and links from Messages, Mail, Calendar or Slack open here automatically. - A QR code. Point the scanner at a menu, parking sign or ticket. The code is read on your phone and the page opens here. What is missing (on purpose): - Nowhere to type a web address or search. - No tabs, no history, no bookmarks, no Google home screen, no feed. - No account, no sign-up, no sync. Why that helps: - Normally, if you disable your browser to limit social scrolling, links, tickets, menus and bank logins stop working. So you keep a normal browser and the whole web stays one tap away. - Not A Browser is the middle ground. Links still work, with no open-ended entrance to the web. What it is not: - It is not a screen time app. There are no timers, streaks, schedules, reports or coaching. It does not block other apps. Seven days free: - Every feature is available free for the first seven days. No payment details are required and the free period does not start a subscription. - After seven days, access ends and nothing is charged. To continue, you can choose annual access through Google Play.
