Full description
Noise Machine plays white, pink, or brown noise, picked with a color selector next to the main button. Pick a color, tap the button, it starts. Tap again, it stops. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Pay once and it's yours for good, no ads, no account, no recurring fees, no screens to dig through to find the thing you came for. All three are generated on the device in real time rather than looped from a recording, so there's no seam or repeating pattern, and no clicks where a loop would repeat. Playback keeps running when you lock your phone or switch apps, with play/pause controls on the lock screen and in the notification shade. A home screen widget adds one-tap play/pause, volume, and color buttons without opening the app. On Wear OS, noise plays directly from the watch, even when your phone is out of range. The Wear OS tile lets you play or pause noise and cycle between white, pink, and brown noise. Add the Noise watch-face complication for one-tap play/pause and a quick view of the current noise color. By default, starting the noise pauses whatever else is playing, the same way any other audio app would. If you'd rather keep it going while you watch videos or listen to music and podcasts, turn on "Mix with other audio" in settings and the two play together. No internet permission either. The app doesn't collect or send any data, has nothing to advertise, and doesn't need a network connection to work.

What's new

You can now ask Google Assistant to start a noise by name, and add home screen shortcuts that jump straight to your favorite sound. Updated for the latest Android version.
