Nimbo: Switch Phone & Transfer

Nimbo moves your photos, videos, music, files, apps and contacts straight from one Android phone to another. The two phones connect to each other directly over Wi-Fi, so your files never touch a server. Use it once when you get a new phone, and every time you want to send something big to someone beside you. SWITCH TO A NEW PHONE • Tell Nimbo which phone you are holding, choose what should move, and scan once. • Photos, videos, music, documents, contacts and copies of your apps' install files move kind by kind, with a checklist that shows what is done. • Works between phones of different brands, for example from a Samsung to a Pixel. • Keep using the phone while it runs. Progress stays in your notifications. SEND FILES TO THE PHONE BESIDE YOU • Pick photos, videos, music, files and apps in one selection. • The other phone taps Receive and shows a code. Scan it and the transfer starts. • Original files at original quality, not a compressed copy. • Send one photo or thousands, and videos of any size. SEE THE REAL SPEED • The transfer screen shows the live speed in MB/s and a graph of the last minute, measured on your phones as the files cross. • No cable, no mobile data and no Wi-Fi router needed. The two phones make their own connection. EVERY FILE CHECKED • Each file is checked with a checksum when it lands. • A receipt shows exactly what arrived: how many photos, videos and files, how long it took and the average speed. • Received files are saved in a Nimbo folder inside Downloads, named for the date and the phone that sent them. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account and no sign-up. • Your files go only to the phone you paired with, never to a cloud. • Your transfer history and recent people are stored on your phone only. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install Nimbo on both phones. 2. On the phone that receives, tap Receive. 3. On the phone that sends, pick what to send and scan the code. Keep the phones close until the receipt appears. Requirements: Android 7.0 or later on both phones, Wi-Fi turned on, and a camera on the sending phone to scan the code.
