Full description
I'm a dad of five, and I built ParentPulse because nothing else survived contact with an actual household. It's a kids chore chart, a behavior clip chart and a reward chart in one shared family app. Kids earn stars, not money. Parents set it up. Kids see exactly what they own. ▸ Chore chart with stars - Run weekly chores by day of the week. Assign one child or a pair, or make it a Clan chore the whole crew can pitch in on. - Give each chore its own star value, so bigger jobs earn more. - Kids mark chores done, and stars land after a parent approves. - Kids are prompted to snap a photo when they finish a chore. They can skip it, and any photo shows on the chore card for you to review. ▸ Behavior chart that resets every week - Track behavior on a six-level clip chart, the paper chart a lot of us grew up with, without the paper. - Every child starts the week at the same level, and the chart resets every Monday. The reset never touches the stars they earned. ▸ Reward chart your family actually wants - Every child has a star wallet. Stars are earned and spent, like a sticker chart that pays off. - You set the rewards and the prices in the Reward Shop, and you confirm every redemption. Stars are held the moment a child asks, and refunded in full if you say no. - Hand out Blue Ribbons for the things no chore list captures. Kids can give them too. - Build streaks, and share your kids' wins as cards. ▸ One place for the family - Keep one family calendar everyone can see. - Kids can send requests in their own words. The app reads a request like "can Kayla come over Friday after soccer" and suggests a calendar event. You review it, adjust it, and approve or deny it with a note back. - Keep to-do lists, and leave Partner Notes only the adults can read. - Kids can sign in on their own device with a PIN. - Light and dark themes. ▸ For a shared family tablet Kiosk Mode turns one device into a chore station. Kids tap their name, mark work done, send requests and give Blue Ribbons. Settings and parent notes stay locked, and leaving Kiosk Mode takes the parent PIN. It is a mode inside ParentPulse, not a lock on the device itself. ▸ Plans ParentPulse is free to download, and everything above is included. A paid plan adds AI-powered weekly coaching reports (your first one is free), behavior trend insights, a focus note for the AI, Family Goals, North Star Goals for each child (completed ones fill the Trophy Room), a synced caregiver prep sheet on every guardian's phone, and priority support. One plan covers the whole household. ▸ What to know before you start - ParentPulse needs an internet connection to load your family's data, and it refreshes itself when you reconnect. - One account belongs to one family. A family holds up to four guardians and up to ten children. - Notifications announce something that just happened, such as a chore marked done, a request from your kid, or a Blue Ribbon. There are no timed or scheduled push reminders. - By email, a new family gets a welcome message, one reminder if no children have been added after a few days, and one reminder if there are children but no chores yet. Each carries an unsubscribe link.

What's new

Chore photos now work on phones that have no web browser installed, including some managed and parental-control devices. Tapping "Take Photo" opens the camera as it should, instead of doing nothing. Also fixes buttons at the bottom of pop-up panels being hidden behind the on-screen navigation bar.
