LuNAC: True 13 Moon Calendar

LuNAC IS CURRENTLY FREE IN PRERELEASE LuNAC is still growing, and you are invited to help shape what it becomes. During this prerelease period, the app is completely free to use. Updates may be frequent as features are refined, expanded, and improved. If you try LuNAC, please consider leaving a review and sharing your suggestions, questions, or anything that does not work as expected. You can send feedback directly through More → About → Send Feedback in the app. A TRUE 13 MOON CALENDAR LuNAC is a true 13 moon calendar designed around the Moon’s actual astronomical cycle—not Gregorian months with Moon phases added on top. Each lunar month follows an actual lunation, beginning with the astronomical New Moon. Every day is shown within both the lunar cycle and the familiar civil calendar, allowing you to see where an ordinary calendar date actually lives within the Moon’s cycle. EXPLORE THE LUNAR CALENDAR Follow lunar months and lunar days through a calendar designed to make the Moon’s cycle visible. See where each day falls within the current lunation, and move between the calendar, individual days, and the larger astronomical timeline. FOLLOW REAL CELESTIAL EVENTS Explore: • New Moons, First Quarters, Full Moons, and Last Quarters • Lunar and solar eclipses • Perigee and apogee • Equinoxes and solstices • Planetary retrogrades • Planetary aspects • The Sun’s apparent movement through the official IAU constellations, including Ophiuchus SEE THE SKY IN TIME LuNAC’s interactive timeline brings lunar phases and other celestial events together chronologically, making it easier to understand what is happening in the sky and when. OPEN A CLOSER VIEW OF EACH DAY Sky Notes provides a focused look at the astronomical events associated with an individual day. Clear time and provenance information helps you understand when events occur and where the astronomical data comes from. ASTRONOMY WITHOUT HOROSCOPES LuNAC does not provide astrological interpretations or generalized horoscope readings. It is designed for people who want a lunar calendar grounded in astronomy: gardeners, skywatchers, cycle observers, researchers, and anyone curious about the real rhythm of the Moon and sky. HELP SHAPE LuNAC This prerelease is the beginning. New features, refinements, and corrections will continue to arrive through frequent updates. Reviews and thoughtful feedback are deeply appreciated and will help guide LuNAC as it develops. The civil calendar tells you the date. LuNAC shows you where that date lives within the Moon’s cycle.
