Let's Watch Something Live

Can't decide what to watch? Chip's got you. Step into a corner video store that never closed. Behind the counter is Chip — your friendly 1990s video store clerk who happens to live inside your phone. He knows every movie. He knows every show. And he's been waiting all night to help you pick the perfect one. Whether you're flying solo, settling in with someone special, or trying to wrangle the whole group into agreeing on something, Chip can help. 🎬 Tell Chip the vibe. "Something funny but smart." "A thriller I haven't seen." "That weird sci-fi feeling." Just say it like you'd say it to a friend. Chip listens, asks a follow-up if he needs to, and hands you exactly four picks — two movies and two shows — with trailers, ratings, and where to stream them. 🌟 Search by actor or actress. Type a name. Chip pulls their best work — the iconic stuff, the underrated gems, the things you forgot they were in. One tap and you're watching the trailer. 🎲 Just want to swipe? Open the swipe deck and rip through hand-picked posters left or right, Tinder-style. The ones you like land in your watchlist. 👯 Watch Together. Start a group session, share the code with up to a few friends, and everyone swipes the same deck. The first movie everyone in the group says yes to wins. No more 45-minute negotiations. 🧠 Take the quiz. Five quick questions about what you're in the mood for. Chip studies your answers and serves up four custom picks tailored to your night. 📺 Save for later. Anything Chip recommends or you swipe right on lands in your watchlist, ready when you are. Why people love Chip: • Real personality — not a sterile algorithm • Powered by The Movie Database (TMDB), so the data is current and complete • Trailers, ratings, cast, and streaming availability all in one tap • No ads. No tracking. No advertising ID. We don't know who you are and we don't want to. • Works offline-friendly for browsing your watchlist • Designed for evenings on the couch, not for selling your data Privacy first. Your watchlist lives on your device. We don't collect your viewing habits, we don't sell anything to anyone, and we don't run ads. The only data Chip ever sees is the question you ask him — and that's only so he can answer it. Free to use. The whole app. No paywalls, no premium tier, no "unlock more recommendations" upsell. Just Chip, the video store, and your next favorite movie. Pop the popcorn. Dim the lights. Let's watch something.
