Klyva: Ingredient Scanner

Klyva is a clean-beauty ingredient scanner for your skincare, makeup and personal-care products. Scan a barcode and get a clear 0–100 clean-beauty score, a full breakdown of every flagged ingredient with published sources, and cleaner alternatives — so you can decide what goes on your skin with confidence. WHY KLYVA IS DIFFERENT A real, published method — not a black box. Klyva's score comes from a deterministic, rules-based engine. The same ingredients always produce the same number. It's never AI-generated, never random, and never influenced by brands. Ingredients, not marketing. Klyva assesses what's actually on the label against published cosmetic-safety references — not a brand's claims. Honest about what it doesn't know. If an ingredient list can't be confirmed, Klyva tells you instead of inventing a score. Private by design. Your camera reads labels on your device. Photos are never uploaded. HOW IT WORKS Point your camera at the barcode. Klyva looks the product up in the open Open Beauty Facts database. If the ingredients aren't on file, point at the ingredients list and Klyva reads it on-device (no photo ever leaves your phone). Get your score, the flagged-ingredient breakdown with the "why" and a source for each, and cleaner alternatives. WHAT KLYVA LOOKS FOR Fragrance and undisclosed perfume, common allergens, parabens, certain preservatives, comedogenic (pore-clogging) ingredients, artificial colours and more — each with a plain-English reason and a published source you can check. EVERYTHING INCLUDED — NO ACCOUNT, NO PAYWALL Unlimited scanning — no account required The full clean-beauty score and verdict The complete flagged-ingredient breakdown, with every "why" and source Personalized-to-your-skin scoring from a short skin quiz Cleaner picks ranked for your skin Scan history, search by name, and category Top lists No ads, ever. CLEANER PICKS & SHOPPING When Klyva suggests a cleaner alternative, it may include a link to buy it. Klyva may earn a small commission on purchases made through these links — but this never affects a product's score or where it ranks. Recommendations are always ordered by score, never by commission. PRIVACY Klyva signs you in anonymously — no name, email or phone number. Label photos are read on your device (Google ML Kit) and are never uploaded or stored. We never sell your data, never show ads, and never share your skin profile. Full details: https://klyva.app/privacy IMPORTANT Klyva is an informational tool, not medical advice. A score is an opinion about a product's ingredients, not a verdict on a brand, and a lower score does not mean a product is unsafe. Always check the physical packaging, and consult a professional for medical or allergy concerns. Questions? [email protected]
