Full description
KidTask turns everyday chores into points your child earns, and points into rewards you agree on together. You can have it running in about three minutes. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add your child. They get their own sign-in, and their own screen. 2. Choose chores. Pick from the built-in catalogue or write your own, and set what each one is worth. 3. Approve and reward. Your child marks a chore done, you approve it, the points land in their wallet. READY IN THREE MINUTES An empty chore app is a chore in itself. KidTask opens with 61 suggested chores across 7 categories — hygiene, bedroom, home help, learning, pets, outdoors and health — plus 17 rewards. Some arrive already ticked. Change the points, the days or the wording before you add anything, then confirm from a summary showing exactly what is about to be created. WHAT YOUR CHILD SEES • Their own home screen, with their balance and a countdown to their birthday • Today's chores, grouped by category and easy to read • A wallet: what they earned, what they spent, what is left • Rewards worth saving up for • The app in their own language, whichever one you use WHAT YOU GET AS A PARENT • One-off, daily, weekly and monthly chores, on chosen days and at chosen times • Chores grouped by category, with a filter for one at a time • Approve what is done, or let the routine ones approve themselves • Points converted to real money at a rate you set — pocket money that adds up • Cash withdrawal requests, so handing money over is recorded, not remembered • Charts by day, week and month, for every child • A second parent, invited with a QR code or a short code MAKE IT YOUR FAMILY'S Points do not have to be called points. Rename them, rename the money, or add a reward type of your own — screen time, stars, whatever your family negotiates over. Each child can use KidTask in their own language while you use yours. Dark mode included. WHY POINTS WORK A number a child can watch going up is easier to keep going than a reminder repeated. Chore, reward and the arithmetic between them sit in one place, so a week's effort is visible instead of argued over. WHO IT IS FOR Families with school-age children: the first pocket money, a morning routine that needs no shouting, homework that gets done, siblings who each want their own tally. Use it as a chore chart, a reward chart, an allowance tracker or a routine planner, depending on what your family needs. FREE AND PREMIUM Every new family starts with a 14-day trial, all unlocked. After that KidTask stays free for one child with one-off chores. Premium adds more children, repeating chores, rewards, a second parent and notifications. Subscriptions are monthly or yearly, via Google Play. ALSO IN A BROWSER The same family, the same account, at kidtask.app. NINE LANGUAGES English, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Polish and Hungarian. PRIVACY KidTask shows no advertising, to children or parents. A child needs neither an email address nor a phone number — they sign in with a code and a PIN you give them. QUESTIONS PARENTS ASK Does my child need their own phone? No. The web works on any device, or use yours. Does my child need an email address? No. A login code and a PIN are enough. Can I use it for several children? Yes. Each has their own chores, points and wallet. Do points have to become money? No. They can buy rewards and nothing else. Converting them is optional and the rate is yours. Can I reward with something other than money? Yes — screen time, an outing, or a reward you write yourself. Are there adverts? No. Can both parents use it? Yes, on Premium. Invite the second parent with a QR code. What if I stop subscribing? Nothing is deleted. Every child and all their history stay; repeating chores pause until you subscribe again. KidTask is a chore chart, an allowance tracker and a reward chart in one app, for families with children old enough to want their own money and not yet old enough to have any.

What's new

• Soft colours now drift slowly behind the screens, and swell for a moment when a child finishes a chore. • The parent's screens follow the phone's theme, dark included, or stay dark or light if you choose. • A parent can share a badge straight from the list, and a shared badge shows the child's name. • The child and category filters sit side by side on the task list. • Fixed: the badge sheet no longer shows a grey box instead of its buttons.
