Keepsake: Save & Remember Why

Never forget why you saved something again. Keepsake is a context-first memory app that captures why you saved something, not just what you saved. When you save a link, thought, memory, or note, we ask you one simple question: "Why might future-you care about this?" Your answer becomes your memory. Days or months later, you'll remember exactly why you saved it. All your data stays on your device — we never access it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ You save things constantly: - Links you'll "read later" - Notes that made sense "at the time" But when you come back, you think: "Why did I save this?" The content is there. The context is gone. Keepsake solves this. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. SAVE ANYTHING • Links from any app via share sheet • Quick text notes • Thoughts worth remembering 2. CAPTURE CONTEXT • Answer: "Why did you save this?" • Optional mood tags (Inspired, Confused, Planning) • Takes 5 seconds 3. REDISCOVER WITH CLARITY • Your past self explains why it mattered • No more forgotten bookmarks • No more screenshot hoarding ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FEATURES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✓ Save from any app (share sheet integration) ✓ Capture intent in your own words ✓ 1 custom mood preset (Inspired, Confused, Planning, etc.) ✓ Clean, minimal timeline interface ✓ Fast search (across content, context, mood) ✓ Filter by type (Links / Notes) ✓ No folders, no complexity, no maintenance ✓ Dark mode ✓ Milestone notifications (celebrate 50, 100, 200 saves) ✓ 1 weekly memory resurfacing preview PRO FEATURES: ✓ Daily memory resurfacing notifications ✓ Pin entries (keep favorites at top) ✓ In-app memory card resurfacing ✓ Up to 6 custom mood presets ✓ Export to JSON, Plain Text, or PDF ✓ Import from JSON backup ✓ Home screen & lock screen widgets (Android) ✓ Smart memory selection (avoids recently seen entries) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHO IT'S FOR ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - People with 100+ unread bookmarks - Anyone who saves things "for later" - Overthinkers who need to capture thoughts - People tired of cluttered note apps ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ NOT ANOTHER NOTES APP ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Keepsake is different: ❌ Not a bookmark manager (we focus on WHY, not WHERE) ❌ Not a notes app (we capture moments, not documents) ❌ Not a read-later tool (we help you remember intent) ✅ A message from present-you to future-you ✅ A context capture tool ✅ A memory aid for your digital life ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ YOUR PRIVACY, YOUR DATA ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✓ 100% local-first — all your data stays on your device ✓ No account needed — no sign-up, no tracking ✓ No backend — we never see your saves or context ✓ You own your data — export anytime as JSON ✓ Anonymous error tracking (Sentry) with privacy filters Your memories are yours alone. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE PHILOSOPHY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Most apps optimize for speed and volume.
