Kavalkad: Sports Event Photos

Kavalkad gathers the photographs taken by participants, spectators and photographers at a sports event into one gallery, so the pictures actually reach the people in them. You need an event code to use Kavalkad. The organizer hands it out — on a poster at the venue, in the club newsletter, or as a link you tap. Without a code there is nothing to see, so pick one up before you start. For families and spectators • Scan the QR code or type the event code to join • Browse the whole event on a timeline, and jump to the heat, the race or the hour you care about • Find pictures by bib number, name or team, where they have been tagged • Save a photo to your phone, or send it on through the usual share sheet • Ask the photographer for the full-quality file with one tap • No account needed to look and to save For photographers • Upload from your phone, or straight from a Nikon or Canon body over FTPS or SFTP • Your name or your logo is watermarked onto every picture you share • Your original files stay yours — only watermarked, size-limited copies are ever shown to anyone • Straighten, crop and correct a picture after it is up, and revert if you change your mind • See which of your pictures people like, share and save, and sort your own by most downloaded • A separate code for each event, so several events never run together Privacy Photographs of people at a sports event are personal data, and children are often in them. The app is built accordingly: • No face recognition, ever. Nothing here identifies anyone by their face • Originals are never shown to anyone but the photographer who uploaded them • Anyone can report a picture. It is hidden at once and an organizer looks at it • Every event has an end date, after which the photographs are deleted • You can delete your account whenever you like, and every photograph you uploaded goes with it — in the app under Account, or at https://kavalkad.app/delete-account An organizer can run an event three ways: open to anyone holding the code; restricted, where each person who asks to join has to be approved first; or protected, for events with children, where every photograph stays unpublished until an organizer has assigned it to a participant, and each family sees only the pictures of their own child — never anyone else's.
