Wave

Wave is the first app that connects groups of friends with other groups — in real life, in real time. Heading to brunch with your crew? Out for happy hour? Exploring a new city? Wave shows you who else is out nearby and helps you meet them. No solo swiping. No awkward one-on-one dates. Just groups meeting groups the way it actually happens in real life. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS 1️⃣ CREATE YOUR GROUP Name your crew, pick your vibe, and invite your friends. 2️⃣ CHECK IN TO A HUB Discover who's out in your neighborhood. See what's happening at Midtown, Beltline, Buckhead, and 14+ more Atlanta areas. 3️⃣ WAVE See a group you want to meet? Send a wave. If they wave back, you're matched and can start chatting. 4️⃣ MEET UP Coordinate in group chat and make it happen. Tap "We Met" when you link up. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SAFETY FIRST Wave is built with safety at its core, especially for women: - Photo verification required for all users — every person on Wave is who they say they are - See gender composition and age range of every group before you wave - Filter to see only women's groups, men's groups, couples, or mixed groups - Democratic voting — your whole group votes on incoming waves, not just one person - Block and report tools available on every profile ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SOLO MODE Don't have your crew with you? No problem. Solo mode lets you: - Browse and wave at groups as an individual - Get verified so groups know you're real - Perfect for travelers, tourists, or new residents - Join groups looking for new friends ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ EVENTS & PRE-PLANNING Big event coming up? Plan ahead: - Browse upcoming events in your city - RSVP with your group days before - See other groups and solos who are going - Get notified when the event starts Whether it's a festival, concert, or game day — know who's going before you arrive. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT MAKES WAVE DIFFERENT 👥 Group-to-group — Not 1-on-1. Bring your friends. ⚡ Real-time — See who's actually out right now, not who swiped yesterday. 📍 Location-based — Discover groups at bars, restaurants, events, and neighborhoods near you. 📸 Scene — A live photo feed showing what's happening at each hub tonight. 🗓️ Events — Find local events, RSVP with your group, and chat with other attendees. ⏰ Ephemeral groups — Create a new group every time you go out. No permanent profiles to manage. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ YOUR WAVE TABS 📍 Discover — Find groups nearby and wave 👋 Waves — See who's waving at you 💬 Chats — Talk to your connections 📸 Scene — See what's happening around you ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERFECT FOR - Friends heading out for brunch, dinner, or drinks - Bachelor and bachelorette parties looking to meet other groups - Tourists exploring a new city who want to connect with locals - Groups at concerts, festivals, and sporting events - Couples who love double dates - New to the city and want to meet people ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Wave is currently live in Atlanta, GA with 18+ neighborhoods. More cities coming soon. Wave is free to download and use. Must be 21+ to join. Questions? Email us at [email protected] Visit joinwave.app for more info
