Same: Know Your Friends

Same is a deck of question cards you play with your friends. A card is a few words: Dogs or cats. Pineapple on pizza. Air guitar. Swipe it one way or the other, and Same shows you which of your friends said the same and which did not. Swipe and See Thousands of cards, in categories from Animals and Music to Books and Nature. A card takes a second to answer, and the answers add up. Each friend's page shows how much you have in common, where you differ, and what is new between you. Say Why Add a why to any answer, or ask a friend for theirs. A surprising answer usually has a story behind it. Guess Think you know someone? Guess what a friend said before you see it, and hear about it when they guess you. Three Games for Two Guess Deck: you each answer ten cards. Read three of theirs, then guess the other seven. Same Deck: keep the cards you want. Only the ones you both kept are turned over, so nobody risks a visible no. Main Deck: pick a friend and a category and answer the same cards. Each one shows both answers. Card of the Day One card a day, the same one for everybody. See how your friends answered and keep your days in a row going. Chat Send any card to a friend with a line of your own, react to theirs, and talk it over. Bring a Friend Send up to three of your answers as a link. Your friend answers each one, sees yours turn over, and arrives already your friend. Meet Someone New Same can also introduce you to people near you who answer like you. A face stays blurred until you have played a deck together and both said yes. Yours to Decide The more personal categories, Belief and Politics among them, stay off until you switch them on, and each asks first. Block or report anybody from their profile or from a chat. For Adults Same is for people aged 18 and over. Everybody gives a date of birth when they join. No Advertising No advertising, no tracking, and nothing about you is sold. Same is made by one person in Groningen. Questions or problems? Write to [email protected].
