Huisalert: rental & buy alerts

In a tight housing market you often apply for rental and for-sale homes that have already gone. Huisalert watches Dutch estate agents' own websites continuously, and fetches the agent's page once more just before sending you an alert. If the home is gone, the alert is not sent. RENTING OR BUYING One saved search, both sides of the market. Looking for a rental, you filter on monthly rent; looking to buy, on asking price. You can follow both at once -- useful if you are weighing up somewhere to buy while keeping a rental as a fallback. WHAT IT DOES • Save a search: city, neighbourhood or postcode, buy or rent, price, floor area and rooms. • Pick a radius around a place you type. • Get a push notification with the city and the asking price, and tap through to the listing at the agent. • Reply straight from the notification: your details are already in the message, you only send it. • Save homes as favourites and keep your own notes on them. CHECKED FIRST, THEN SENT Huisalert collects listings straight from agents' publicly published pages rather than from one central portal. Just before an alert goes out we fetch that page again. On 4 September 2026, 268 alerts went out; all 268 had been checked and all 268 were still available. Measured, not estimated. WHICH CITIES We watch estate agent websites across the Netherlands, with the most in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Groningen, Tilburg, Almere, Breda and Nijmegen. For each place you can see how many rental and for-sale homes are visible at that moment, and on which day that was counted. FILL IT IN ONCE Fill in your details once -- household, income, financing, when you can move -- and after that you reply in two taps from the notification. The message is already written. You send it with your own mail app; we never see the contents and never send anything on your behalf. FREE, AND WHAT PLUS ADDS Free to use. No card, and no subscription that keeps running. Delete in the app, with export. The free plan sends one alert a day, carrying every home we found that day. In the app you always see every home that matches your search — the free plan limits how often you are told, never what you get to see. Every filter, favourites, notes and the drafted message to the agent are part of the free plan. Huisalert Plus sends every matching home on its own, as soon as we find it, instead of once a day. Plus is arranged outside the app; nothing is sold inside it. PRIVACY The app requests no location permission and never reads your position; your search area is a place you type. There is no analytics SDK. Two things we do measure, both about your own account: whether you opened a notification, and, if you fill it in, how you found us. If the app crashes we send a technical crash report so we can fix it; you switch that off under Settings. You can download a complete copy of your data in the app, and delete your account in two steps. WORTH KNOWING Huisalert is not an estate agent and does not broker anything. The data comes from agents' websites and can be incomplete. We check the page just before sending you the alert, but a home can still go after that. Always verify with the agent.
