Full description
Opens straight to the camera — no splash screen, no menu to dig through. A QR code reader, a barcode scanner and a QR code generator in one, with every scan kept in a searchable history. ━━━ Codes it reads ━━━ • QR Code • EAN-13 (JAN) and EAN-8 • UPC-A and UPC-E • ISBN (book barcodes) • Code 128, Code 39, Code 93 • GS1-128 (shipping labels) • ITF and ITF-14 (carton case marks) • Codabar (library loans, courier waybills) • Data Matrix and GS1 DataMatrix • PDF417 (driving licences, ID cards, boarding passes) • Aztec (rail and air tickets) Scan a GS1-128 or GS1 DataMatrix and it splits out what is inside — GTIN, lot number, expiry date, serial — as separate labelled fields, not one run of digits. ━━━ Codes it creates ━━━ QR codes for websites, Wi-Fi, text, contacts (vCard), phone, email, SMS, calendar events and your own contact card. Barcodes you can create and save at no cost: EAN-13, EAN-8, ISBN, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39. Nine business formats — GS1-128, Data Matrix, GS1 DataMatrix, PDF417, Aztec, ITF-14, ITF, Codabar, Code 93 — are covered by the one-time purchase. What each is for and what to type is free to read. Check digits are worked out for you. Put a lowercase letter into Code 39 and it says "Code 39 cannot use lowercase letters" — what is wrong, not just that something is. ━━━ Scan it, keep it, find it later ━━━ Every scan is sorted into categories and kept in a searchable history. Narrow it three ways at once — by period (this month, last month, last 6 months, this year, last year, or dates you pick), by category and by format — so thousands of scans lead to the one you want. There is no product name lookup. You name things yourself: label a scan once and next time you read that barcode you see your own words for it. Products, Wi-Fi and contacts build up. Only URLs and plain text are tidied away after 90 days by default; anything labelled or noted is left alone. Payment codes are never written to history. ━━━ At work ━━━ Shipping labels in logistics and warehousing (GS1-128, ITF-14). Medicines and medical supplies in pharmacy and healthcare (GS1 DataMatrix). Retail stock (EAN-13, UPC-A). Library holdings and loans (ISBN, Codabar). Parts marking in manufacturing (Data Matrix, Code 39). Rail and air tickets (Aztec, PDF417). Continuous scanning handles a stocktake, and history exports to CSV that opens cleanly in Excel. ━━━ What you get at no cost ━━━ Reading every format listed above. Creating QR codes and seven barcode formats. Reading what the nine business formats are for. Search and filters. Item counts. Gallery scanning, flashlight, zoom, continuous scanning. Photos, labels, notes. CSV export and import. No ads, no account, no tracking. The free version shows your 30 most recent scans. Passing 30 does not stop scanning: scan 31 onward stays on your device and is never deleted. The view narrows to the newest 30, and a search still shows the older records are there. ━━━ What the one-time purchase unlocks ━━━ No subscription, no monthly fee. Paying once unlocks four: 1. Your whole history in full (no cap on entries; tested with 10,000) 2. Creating the nine business formats 3. Automatic backup to a visible folder in your own Google Drive 4. Automatic restore when you switch phones No ads, no account and no tracking are the same either way. ━━━ Your data stays on your phone ━━━ Photos, notes and what you scan stay on the device, and scanning works with no connection. It goes online only to open a legal page, to back up to your own Google Drive, or to buy through Google Play. ━━━ Who it's for ━━━ Anyone collecting books, manga or a series that is easy to lose track of, or who has stood in a shop trying to remember whether they own this already. Anyone in a warehouse, pharmacy, library or factory who reads business barcodes. QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
