Full description
Type what is in each account. Name something you're giving up. GiveItUp does the arithmetic. What you have is one number, on one screen: checking, savings, the cash in the drawer, each one typed by you. A coffee-shop breakfast at $13 a day is $4,745 a year. Getting your nails done at $65 a week is $3,380. Every give-up adds to that total over time, and the things you want each show the day you can have them. How it works • Balances: one number per account. The total is what you have. Nothing here changes on its own. • Give something up: what it is, what it costs, how often. The money starts counting from that day. • Name what you want: a bike, a laptop, a vacation next year. Each one shows the date your balances could buy it. • When they cover it, tap "I got it." It moves to what you got, and the next thing moves up. Why type the numbers yourself No transactions, no categories, no receipts. You type what the bank screen says, and it is always true. The moment you retype a lower number after a coffee is the moment you feel the coffee. That is the whole app. Simple on purpose • No bank connection. No card. No linking anything. • No account needed. Everything lives on your phone. • A free account does one thing: backs your data up so you can restore it on a new phone. • No ads. No tracking. Nothing you enter is ever shared or public. GiveItUp is a personal tracker, not financial advice. It never moves money and never sees your accounts. It shows you what small, boring decisions add up to, and lets you spend that on something you'll remember. From TravelingSober.

What's new

Balances. Type what is in each account, and the total is what you have. Nothing changes on its own: you update the numbers, the app does the arithmetic. Your give-ups and the things you want now count from that total, so "you can get it in December" is measured against real money. Your old savings pot carries over as one Savings balance. Change it any time.
