Everest Steps

Step counters give you a number. Everest gives that number a place on Earth. Every step you take climbs a trail of 36 badges, each one a real place at its real distance: 1,000 steps is a full lap of Moscow's Red Square. 3,600 crosses the Golden Gate Bridge. Walk a marathon's 42.195 km across one ordinary week. Keep going and, step by step, you will walk the 1,200 km from the Bay of Bengal to the summit of Everest — the only complete sea-to-top ascent ever walked, and the badge this app is named after. THE TRAIL • Three trails: Today, This Week, and All Time — badges behind you in full colour, your next goal always one walk away • 36 original badges tied to real, verified distances (every badge cites its source) • A progress bar that never lies: 1 step = 0.75 m, everywhere in the app YOUR HISTORY COUNTS Everest reads your steps from Health Connect. The walking you have already done matters: connect once and months of past steps can light up the trail in your first minute. IT WORKS WHILE YOUR PHONE SLEEPS Badges unlock in the background, even with the app closed. Get a notification the moment you cross a threshold — and a gentle evening nudge when tonight's badge is within reach. NO ACCOUNT.
