Gapless: Drone Mapping

Early Access: all features are currently free while we test with real pilots. After Early Access, some advanced features (such as automatic re-flights, repeat missions and multi-battery missions) may require a paid Pro subscription. The app will stay free to download, and your saved missions and data will never be locked. Leave the site with every photo. Gapless plans and flies photo-mapping missions on DJI drones, checks your real photos against the plan before you pack up, and re-flies only the points that are missing. PLAN • Draw the area on the map, choose height or ground detail (GSD), overlap, line direction and speed. • See photos, batteries, minutes and area before you fly. Large areas are split into battery-sized legs. FLY • Pre-flight checklist: aircraft, GPS, compass, battery, memory card, and your own checks before every take-off. • The app flies the grid and takes the photos; pause, return home or land at any time. Your progress is saved after every battery. CHECK AND RE-FLY • Import the photos of the flight from your phone. Gapless reads the position stored in each DJI photo and shows which plan points have no photo. • Generate a re-flight for just the missing points, or accept the gaps. • Fly the same mission again next week with the same grid, height and camera. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • No account. Missions, flights and results are stored on the phone. Save a backup file wherever you like. • Share a flight summary only if you choose to — it contains no coordinates, names or photos. AIRCRAFT Works with the aircraft supported by DJI Mobile SDK V5: Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Mavic 3 Enterprise series and Matrice 30 / 300 RTK / 350 RTK / 4 / 4D / 400, with an Android phone (Android 10 or later) and the matching remote controller connected by USB. Real test flights so far: DJI Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro with the RC-N1 / RC-N2 controller — fly a short test mission first on any other model. No drone at hand? Try the built-in demo flight on a simulated aircraft. IMPORTANT • You are the pilot: follow the law and airspace rules where you fly and be ready to take control at any time. • This app is developed by an individual. There is no support service.
