Full description
Frost Note turns the two questions you actually ask into one tap each: how much is this in the other unit, and how much does a cup of it weigh. Six measure families, fifty units, no guessing Length, weight, temperature, volume, area and speed sit behind a single row of chips. Pick a family, pick two units, type a number on the built-in keypad. The result updates as you type, with the unit ratio spelled out underneath and every other unit in the family listed below it, so you can read the same quantity six ways without changing anything. Temperature is done properly. Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin have different zero points as well as different scales, which is why a naive converter gets them wrong. This one carries the offset through the maths and lets you type negatives. A kitchen tab that knows what things weigh A cup of flour and a cup of honey are not the same weight, and recipes assume you know that. The kitchen tab carries the density of twenty-eight everyday ingredients — flours, sugars, butter, milk, cream, honey, syrup, oils, oats, rice, lentils, couscous, breadcrumbs, cocoa, cornstarch, chocolate chips and more — so cups, tablespoons and teaspoons convert to grams and ounces with the right number for the ingredient in front of you. Go the other way too: enter grams and get the measure back, down to "1 cup + 2 tbsp". Each ingredient carries a short handling note, because spooned flour and scooped flour differ by a fifth. Scale the whole batch Doubling a recipe is a slider. Drag the batch scale from a quarter to four times, or tap a preset, and every amount rescales at once. Keep what you use Pin the pairs you reach for and they sit one tap away on the converter. Save conversions to history and the dashboard builds a seven-day activity chart and a breakdown of which families you actually use. Swipe a row to remove it. Eight achievements track real usage — first conversion, all six families, five pinned pairs, a three-day streak — with no points, no currency and nothing to buy. Completely offline No account. No sign-in. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. The release build does not even request the internet permission — there is nothing in the app that could send your data anywhere, because everything is computed on your device from tables compiled into the app. Your history and preferences live in local storage and are deleted with the app. Also included A built-in numeric keypad, so the system keyboard never shoves the layout around Copy any result to the clipboard with a tap or a long press Adjustable precision from 0 to 8 decimal places, with optional thousands grouping Metric or imperial defaults A reduced-motion setting that stills the background Dark, legible interface designed for a kitchen bench or a workshop
